Praveen Maheshwar G is a Senior System Engineer at Medtronic with over 11 years of experience in the mechanical engineering field. Praveen has a strong background in mechanical engineering, PLM, R&D, mechanical testing, test method verification & validation, modeling, drafting, VAVE, should costing, stack up analysis, operations management, strategy planning/execution, general administration, and cross-functional coordination. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from KVG College of Engineering. In his current role as a Production-Planning & Control Engineer at Mallik Engineering (India) Pvt. Ltd., Praveen is responsible for scheduling, forecasting, new product development, vendor development, and creating sketches, part modeling, assemblies, drafting, as well as CAD drawings. He is also responsible for the development of gauges, jigs, and fixtures and continuously interacts with customers for development activities. Praveen has previously worked at HCL as a Lead Engineer and at Cyient as a Technical Lead. At HCL, he was responsible for new product development, costing and estimation for new products, vendor development, and creating sketches, part modeling, assemblies, drafting, as well as CAD drawings. At Cyient, he worked on product development and launch in the Indian market, vendor development, design changes, vendor validation, costing, DMR, DHF remediation, risk management, FDA regulatory compliance, and PLM tool management.
